Our Neighbours

The 'neighbourhood' mountain sheep
Le Beausoleil Bed and Breakfast has some interesting neighbours. There are great friends like the Andersons, Garlands, and Toothills but our most interesting characters are truly local in nature.
During the summer, eagles and osprey soar overhead and in the fall you may see deer, mountain sheep and bears. In the winter, deer, coyotes and the occassional cougar and a few wolves roam the woods surrounding Le Beausoleil. Listen for the howls of the coyotes and wolves during the long winter nights.
You're likely to see one or more of these interesting neighbours during your stay at Le Beausoleil. Just remember they are wild so don't get too close!
In the fall, bright red Kokanee spawn in the local rivers. Watch as eagles, osprey and herons dive to catch their limit!
If you want to see something truly spectacular, plan on viewing the world famous Fraser River salmon run. It happens each year in October and early November and is just a short drive away.
