Le Beausoleil Bed and Breakfast
Welcome to the Le Beausoleil Bed and Breakfast located in Golden, British Columbia.
Enjoy breath taking views of the Rocky and Purcell Mountains, two historic rivers and Kicking Horse Mountain Resort from the guest rooms and decks of ths fantastic "craftsmen" styled home.
Stay in one of Le Beausoleil Bed and Breakfast's four spacious and comfortable suites and guest rooms. ONLY THREE ROOMS are rented each evening unless prior arrangements are made with the hosts.
The Selkirk Room has a king bed, sitting area with sofa, cable tv and a private washroom. The Purcell Room has two queen beds, sitting area with sofa, a gas fireplace, cable tv and a private washroom. The Columbia and Dogtooth Rooms have queen beds, sitting areas, flat screen cable tvs, private washrooms and private balconies.
Breakfast is served in a spacious guest dining room which features a fridge, microwave oven, dishwasher and complimentary coffee, teas and hot chocolate. Guests can use the appliances to store food or prepare simple snacks and meals.
Relax in Le Beausoleil's guest lounge/library or simply enjoy the views while soaking in the hot tub or sitting on one of the four decks.
Le Beausoleil Bed and Breakfast is surrounded by the Rocky and Purcell Mountains. It is literally in "the heart" of Canada's mountain national parks. Banff, Glacier, Jasper, Kootenay, Mount Revelstoke and Yoho National Parks are just a short drive away . The world renowned Bugaboo Provincial Park with its famous granite spires is just down the highway.
Golden is becoming known as the ski center of Canada with four major resorts within 90 minutes of the town. Kicking Horse is the "local" mountain while Lake Louise is 50 minutes away. Sunshine is 90 minutes to the east and Revelstoke is 90 minutes to the west. Hit the slopes at some of Canada's best ski resorts and then come back to the comfort of Le Beausoleil. End the day by taking a relaxing hot tub and enjoy the sunset or the star filled skies.
In the summer hike the many trails in the national parks or mountains that surround Golden. Play a round of golf at the Golden Golf Club, go white water rafting on the world famous Kicking Horse River, go mountain biking, para sailing or fishing. The outdoor activites are endless and world class.
Le Beausoleil is located 270 kilometers west of Calgary, Alberta and just minutes off of the Trans Canada Highway. The drive from Calgary to Golden, ususally takes 2 1/2 hours depending on the number of stops you make. The trip takes you through some of the most scenic country in Canada as you travel on a modern four lane highway for the majority of the journey.
